I’m back.
The Jimmy Eat World and Tedeschi Trucks concerts (months ago) were amazing. I also saw Men I Trust last Fall, that was a very calming concert.
Saw the Stardew Symphony Of Seasons this past Friday with Heather as well.
That was a very moving experience as well… Almost like when in Earthbound where you have a sort of checkpoint moment and reflect on how far you’ve come and what you’ve done. That was nice.
Hoping to wise up and use this domain or another one to start integrating with my computer homelab I’ve been hitting a stride with. I’d like to host a few more game servers and might use this domain rather than exposing my public IP long term.
But yes, on the homelab front I’ve really got into organizing and backing up my data, of which there is a lot. There’s a lot of media, like hundreds of giggys of music, movies, etc. But also some files that you just don’t get back and that are more personal; all these song recordings from my iPod touch from high school, several notepad files when I use to journal, all the photos I’ve taken from my highschool iPod up to the phone I use today, all that crap I created in RPG Maker VX in middle school up to the Godot experimentation and asset hoarding of today, and so on.
The list keeps growing and its been messy for so long, its nice to get it more clean, and a solution to back it up that is more long-term. I’m hoping to keep experimenting with my server and learn more about IT and benefit my skillset for the future. I’ll keep you updated here.
